RugbyKids is the first rugby-specific schools programme for children in Key Stage 2 (age 7 to 11). We make rugby more accessible for girls and boys from all backgrounds through our fun and engaging non-contact rugby classes.

Children learning about rugby in a RugbyKids after-school club

We run rugby-focused after-school clubs across the country. Our fun, non-contact sessions allow children of all abilities to get a taste for rugby in a safe and enjoyable way that has benefits beyond sport.

The RugbyKids programme teaches the basics of rugby during PE lessons. Our classes have mental, social and academic benefits as well as physical ones, and many of the rugby skills we teach transfer to other sports.

Fun-packed all-day events that banish boredom and burn engergy during the school holidays. Our camps are non-residential and usually take place at a local school, park, rugby club or sports centre.

It’s great having RugbyKids run one of our after-school clubs at the school. The children love the sessions and enjoy being outside learning about the basics of the game. They look forward to it every week.

Andrew Davis, Head of Sport

My son and daughter both love RugbyKids. Without it, they would not be learning basic rugby skills at this point in their lives – not until secondary school. So it’s a great head start.

Caroline Gardner, Parent

Since RugbyKids have been coming to the school, the children have improved across all of their sport. We as teachers notice a big difference in their skill levels, listening and fitness. It’s a huge bonus that they seem to have loads of fun too!
